Our Story
It Started with a Single Island
It began in the early 2000s with a ferry to Symi — a tiny Dodecanese island most travellers had never heard of. The neoclassical harbour, the silence, the taverna where the owner brought out dishes nobody had ordered. That trip changed everything.
Over the next two decades, we explored almost every corner of Greece — from the well-loved icons of Santorini and Mykonos to the wild remoteness of the Castle of the Knights, a 14th-century medieval castle on Halki. More than 50 islands, five mainland regions, countless hidden coves, mountain monasteries and family-run restaurants that don't appear on any map.
Greeko exists to share that knowledge. Every holiday we plan draws on 25+ years of personal experience — not research, not algorithms. Real places, personally visited, honestly recommended.
